Along with Downey Sr., who spent the evening deep in conversation with Jeff Bridges (who plays the film's villain), the party hosted pic's Gwyneth Paltrow and Terrence Howard, as well as the film's director, Jon Favreau, who called the event a "coming-out party" for Downey, saying that the actor "carried the film on his back."
Howard also spoke highly of Downey, saying, "He's innovative, he's fearless, he's a genius."
