Cameron Diaz, with Fox's Tom Rothman, introduces her film 'What Happens in Vegas' on Tuesday at the ShoWest convention. |
Jeffrey Katzenberg kicked things off Tuesday at the opening day ceremony by donning a pair of 3-D glasses and showing a scene from DreamWorks' upcoming animated pic "Monsters vs. Aliens."
Next up was a luncheon honoring Robert Redford, Helen Hunt, James Schamus, Ang Lee, Alan Ball and David Mamet.
Later on, before a Par screening of "Kung Fu Panda" at the Paris hotel, Mike Myers and Jessica Alba made a surprise appearance and rolled out clips from their new pic, "The Love Guru."
Guests then trekked next door to Koi in Planet Hollywood, where Ben Stiller and Robert Downey Jr. treated the crowd to some banter -- Stiller made a jail joke at the expense of his pal, while Downey returned fire with a "Heartbreak Kid" jab. Both were there to intro clips from their upcoming DreamWorks comedy "Tropic Thunder."
