Party fit for a 'Princess'

Premiere treats guests to tiaras, huge fake diamond rings

 ANAHEIM -- Downtown Disney rolled out the red carpet for Saturday's world preem of "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement." Guests were greeted by Mickey and Minnie, along with all of the Disney princesses and princes to the delight of starry-eyed girls in attendance.

Before the film rolled, helmer Garry Marshall and stars Julie Andrews and Anne Hathaway talked up the fun atmosphere on the set. After the film, producer Whitney Houston and family were among those strolling over to Disney's California Adventure, where they were treated to tiaras, huge fake diamond rings and food fit for a king. Or a princess.
