Guess, Gotham go collegiate
The Guess Independent Film Tour will run from January through June and will visit more than 200 colleges nationwide with 600 screenings.
Among the films that will be screened are "Girls Town," "Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills," "Synthetic Pleasures," "Stonewall" and "Hype!" Participating schools include Cornell, Harvard, New York U., Ohio State, Penn State, Stanford, Syracuse, Tufts and the U. of Texas.
Each screening will begin and end with Guess' 90-second commercial starring Juliette Lewis. Students will be charged admission ranging from $2 to $4.
"The film tour is an ideal complement to the Guess image," said Guess president and creative director Paul Marciano. "The program demonstrates our commitment to servicing one of our most important demographic groups."
