Peacock renews 'Profiler' drama
NBC has picked up its Saturday- night drama "Profiler" for next season. The show, which is produced by NBC Studios, airs in the Saturday 10-11 p.m. slot as part of the Peacock web's "Thrillogy" package.
This season, "Profiler" has averaged a 7.4 rating and 14 share in households, according to Nielsen. NBC likely ordered 22 episodes for next year.
The network has not yet decided the fates of its other two Saturday shows, "Dark Skies" from Columbia TriStar Television, which airs at 8-9 p.m., and "The Pretender" from MTM. Of the two, "Dark Skies" is considered a longshot to be invited back.
Last week, NBC gave a 22-episode order to its freshman comedy "Suddenly Susan."
