Hotel Rwanda

(MGM, $26.98)

The sentiments are noble, but the extras less than entertaining on this disc. Helmer Terry George flatly interviews former hotel manager Paul Rusesabagina about the historical accuracy of individual scenes in the commentary, which grows tiresome quickly. Nor is there much energy in Don Cheadle's selected-scenes commentary.

The best bet is the 31-minute making-of doc. And a brief featurette documenting Rusesabagina's return to Rwanda includes a moving visit to an unearthed mass grave site where 45,000 were buried, plus rooms filled with bodies, ironically bleached white because of the lime spread upon to them to prevent the spread of disease.
