Richard Spinner has been named to the newly created post of managing director and vice president of special projects at Capital Cities/ABC.
Spinner will be based in New York and report to CapCities/ABC president Robert Iger. He'll be responsible for special projects with the recently consolidated Disney/ABC Intl. Television division, which handles free and pay TV , cable, distribution, production and broadcast sales activities.Previously, Spinner was prexy of European operations for ABC cable and international broadcast, in Munich.
