Bill Burke

Only 29 and the president of the TBS Superstation, Bill Burke is the young exec on the fastest track in the broadcasting organization run by Ted Turner.

He started at Turner in 1992 as director of business development, and went on to draw up the blueprints for the Turner Classic Movies cable network and Cartoon Network Latin America. He has a master's degree from Harvard Business School and is the son of Dan Burke, retired president of Capital Cities/ABC. Because Turner likes to back young up-and-comers like Burke, the TBS topper's future couldn't be brighter.
