Blake Edwards' 10 is a shrewdly observed and beautifully executed comedy of manners and morals.
10 is theoretically the top score on Dudley Moore's female ranking system, although he raves that his dream girl is an '11' after he first spots her. Frustrated in his song writing and in his relationship with g.f. Julie Andrews, diminutive Moore, 40-ish, four-time Oscar winner, decides to pursue the vision incarnated by Bo Derek despite fact that she's on her honeymoon with a jock type seemingly twice Moore's size.
Long build-up to Moore's big night with Derek is spiced with plenty of physical comedy which displays both Moore and Edwards in top slapstick form.
