Writing credit goes to one Patrick Hobby, also the name of the plot's screenwriter, played by Jeffrey Kramer. Candice Rialson goes to Hollywood where agent Dick Miller sends her to low-budget Miracle Pictures' producer Richard Doran who turns out one a week, as director Paul Bartel combines high aspiration with low achievement.
It seems that Mary Woronov, queen of the B-hive, doesn't like the competition from Rialson, Rita George and Tara Strohmeier. A series of bizarre murders gradually eliminate the challengers. Intercut with the new material is a lot of older Corman footage.
