Potts is the wife of perennial juvenile Robert Carradine who spends most of his time racing cars and getting drunk. She splits rather than face him with the hard fact that he's not the father of the child she's carrying.
On her way to the big city for an abortion Potts reluctantly teams up with Kidder. Kidder in blond wig, tight pants, and outrageous jewelry looks the part of a kook. Her foul-mouthed, man-hungry character is in sharp contrast to Potts' relative innocence.
Cast is outstanding with Kidder giving full performance. However, it is basically Potts' film as the runaway wife who's tired of her husband's immature attitude.
