All concerned are back in small Grovers Bend, where Krites terrorized residents just two years earlier. Tipoff that they've returned is appearance of dozens and dozens of large eggs with colorful patterns on them.

Outer space bounty hunters Ug and Lee (Terrence Mann and Roxanne Kernohan), as well as Charlie (Don Opper), are dispatched to planet Earth to complete their earlier attempt to obliterate the nasty little killers.

Coincidentally, young Brad Brown (Scott Grimes) comes to visit his Nana (Herta Ware) and gets blamed again by some townfolk for arrival of the criters, which are now hatching and eating at a furious pace.

Film perfectly weaves together the gruesome behaviour of these bloodthirsty creatures and the comic asides that keep things gliding along.
