Heading the cast of this overkill spoof is Joseph Bologna, good as a down-and-out bus driver whose chance to make a comeback is the nuclear-powered behemoth designed by Stockard Channing and father Harold Gould.

The first half hour or so is devoted to preparations for boarding. Herein is presented also John Beck, assistant driver with only one hangup (he blacks out on the road); computerized control center; Larry Hagman, malpractice-wary doctor treating Gould for injuries from industrial sabotage efforts led by iron-lung-bound Jose Ferrer.

Next comes the parade of passengers, each with their own formula destiny.

Finally come the complications, too numerous to mention. Suffice it to say that no cliche is left unattached.
