This is a workmanlike job. Previous Saint pix, with George Sanders in his standard role, were made in Hollywood.

Plot [from the story The Million Pound Day by Leslie Charteris] revolves around an organization of international counterfeiters. The Saint aids Scotland Yard in rounding up a gang that's ready to foist upon the public $5 million worth of banknotes printed in England for a Continental country. The Saint's chief assistants are Sally Gray and David Burns. Burns almost steals the picture with another inimitable hick crook role. Sanders is excellent, as usual.

Direction is alert, with some photography being excellent.
