Unduly slow pace and repetitious use of trick sets hurts chances of this film. Story, a fairy tale [by Mme. Leprince de Beaumont] in medieval costumes, shows Josette Day in a Cinderella part falling in love with a monster who turns into a Prince Charming upon death. Picture is geared more for the arty crowd than the masses.Josette Day
