MTV to air Britney Spears special
Documentary will premiere November 30
MTV will bow the 90-minute Britney Spears docu "Britney: For the Record" Sunday, Nov. 30.Special, produced by @radical.media and shot during a three-month period, includes footage of the oft-troubled pop star recording her upcoming album, "Circus," and prepping for the MTV’s Video Music Awards.
Meanwhile, FremantleMedia Enterprises, which has acquired worldwide TV and DVD rights, will shop the project at Mipcom.
Special is exec produced by Larry Rudolph, Adam Leber, Jon Kamen, Frank Scherma, Robert Friedman and Justin Wilkes. Heather Olander, VP of series development at MTV, and Steve Bilchik is director of music, talent and series development, oversaw the project for the network.
