'Kimmel' clips clapped with noms

George Carlin gets nod for 'Bad for Ya'

Some people sleep their way to the top; "Jimmy Kimmel Live" f***ed its way to two Emmy nominations.

Two of the latenight gabfest’s four Emmy noms went to the show’s infamous clip "I’m F***ing Matt Damon," starring Damon and Kimmel’s ex-galpal, Sarah Silverman. Another went to Kimmel’s response, "I’m F***ing Ben Affleck."

Both clips were nommed in the new category for picture editing of clip packages for talk, performance, award or a reality-competition program (yes, there’s really a category for that).

Silverman’s "I’m F***ing Matt Damon" tune also picked up a nom for original music and lyrics -- competing with two songs from "Flight of the Conchords," a "Mad TV" parody -- and a song from the Disney cartoon "Phineas and Ferb." Try explaining that to your kids.
