Lil Wayne returns to top of charts

Four albums top 100,000 sold

Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter III" returned to the top of the nation's album sales chart after two weeks at No. 2.

The Cash Money/Universal disc sold 156,000 copies to lift its cume to 1.7 million, according to Nielsen SoundScan data.

Four albums topped the 100,000-sold mark this week -- Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" (149,000), the "Camp Rock" soundtrack (116,000) and G-Unit's second album "T.O.S. (Terminate on Sight)" (Interscope), which sold 102,000 in its first week and opened at No. 4. Hip-hop act's chart-topping debut, "Beg for Mercy," sold 377,000 copies in its first week.

John Meyer's two-CD live album "Where the Light Is" (Columbia) sold 75,000 to debut at No. 5. His third live album is his first to crack the top 10.

Kansas City rapper Tech N9ne's "Killer" (Strange Music) and Chicago rockers Alkaline Trio's "Agony & Irony" (Epic) sold 36,000 each to open at Nos. 12 and 13, respectively. My Chemical Romance's live album "Black Parade Is Dead!" (Reprise) sold 23,000 to land at No. 22, while the Hollywood Records debut from "High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens, "Identified," moved 22,000 (No. 23).

The other top 50 debuts were Relient K's "The Bird and the Bee Sides" (Warner), which sold 20,000 (No. 25); Los Lonely Boys' "Forgiven" (Epic), 19,000 (No. 26); and Jim Jones & the Byrd Gang's "M.O.B." (Asylum), 17,000 (No. 29).

Next week is likely to produce another battle for the top two spots between Lil Wayne and Coldplay with "Camp Rock" again in third.
