Emmy rumors circulate online

Official nominees list to be announced July 17

More details of this year's primetime Emmy Awards balloting began swirling around the Internet this week.

The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences isn't making it official but lists of the finalists for noms in the lead comedy actress and supporting drama actor and actress have been widely circulating around the web.

The leak comes as Emmy officials do the final vote tallying in the preparation for the July 17 noms announcement. Acad last week revealed the 10 finalists for noms in the top drama and comedy series categories, but those were the only two lists ATAS intended to release in advance.

Big surprise in the lead comedy actress is the inclusion of Sarah Silverman for her bawdy Comedy Central skein. In addition to Silverman, the top vote-getters are:

Marcia Cross, ABC's "Desperate Housewives"
America Ferrera, ABC's "Ugly Betty"
Tina Fey, NBC's "30 Rock"
Anna Friel, ABC's "Pushing Daisies"
Felicity Huffman, "Desperate Housewives"
Eva Longoria Parker, "Desperate Housewives"
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, CBS' "New Adventures of Old Christine"
Mary-Louise Parker, Showtime's "Weeds"

In the supporting drama actress race, the top 11 finalists are:
Jane Alexander, HBO's "Tell Me You Love Me"
Candice Bergen, ABC's "Boston Legal"
Rose Byrne, FX's "Damages"
Jill Clayburgh, ABC's "Dirty Sexy Money"
Sharon Gless, USA Network's "Burn Notice"
Rachel Griffiths, ABC's "Brothers & Sisters"
Christina Hendricks, AMC's "Mad Men"
S. Epatha Merkerson, NBC's "Law & Order"
Sandra Oh, ABC's "Grey's Anatomy"
Dianne Wiest, HBO's "In Treatment"
Chandra Wilson, "Grey's Anatomy"

And for supporting drama actor:
Naveen Andrews, ABC's "Lost"
Bruce Dern, HBO's "Big Love"
Christian Clemenson, "Boston Legal"
Ted Danson, "Damages"
Michael Emerson, "Lost"
Zeljko Ivanek, "Damages"
T.R. Knight, "Grey's Anatomy"
William Shatner, "Boston Legal"
John Slattery, "Mad Men"
Blair Underwood, "In Treatment"
