Anderson to star in E! reality series

'Pamela' set to debut this summer

The producers who went "Inside Deep Throat" are now going inside the world of former "Baywatch" babe Pamela Anderson via an unscripted series set up at E!

World of Wonder Prods. is behind the tentatively titled "Pamela," a half-hour the cabler said Monday will reveal "the real woman behind the famous breasts."

E! plans to debut the series this summer.

Greenlight for the skein was announced simultaneously by E! in Los Angeles and at Mip in Cannes. At the confab, Kevin MacLellan -- prexy of Comcast Intl. Media Group -- said "Pamela" would be observational in tone and not feature the contrived situations found on skeins such as "Gene Simmons Family Jewels."

"At her insistence, we're not going to do things which are set up," MacLellan told Daily Variety.

Anderson will exec produce the series, along with Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell and Jeff Pollack.
