Maguire leaps for 'Hungry Rabbit'

Actor eyeing Endgame's dramatic thriller

Endgame Entertainment has picked up Robert Tannen’s spec “Hungry Rabbit Jumps” for Tobey Maguire to topline.

Project is described as a dramatic thriller in the vein of David Fincher’s “The Game.”

Endgame’s James Stern is producing alongside Maguire and Gordonstreet Pictures’ Ram Bergman. Endgame’s Wendy Japhet is executive producing. Mark Ross is overseeing for Maguire Entertainment.

Endgame is the production and finance company behind the Bob Dylan biopic “I’m Not There” and “Hotel Rwanda.” Its next film, “The Brothers Bloom,” will be released by Summit Entertainment.

Maguire Entertainment has a number of projects set up at various studios including “Tokyo Suckerpunch” and “Everything Changes” at Columbia Pictures and “Hot Plastic” at Focus Features.

Maguire most recently wrapped the love triangle drama “Brothers” opposite Jake Gyllenhaal and Natalie Portman for Relativity Media.

Tannen’s credits include Yari Film Group’s 2006 gambling drama “Even Money.” He is repped by Featured Artists Agency and manager AB Fischer.
