Lee professes love for 'Lust'

Director preems pic in Gotham

"I always say at the premieres of my movies that 'This movie is very special to me,' but this one is really, really special to me," Ang Lee told the audience at the Gotham premiere of "Lust, Caution" on Thursday night at Landmark Sunshine Cinema.

The helmer went on to thank his U.S. distrib, Focus Features, before joking, "I hope they can sell it, and I hope this time they deliver."

As for the film's NC-17 rating, Focus topper and pic's co-writer, James Schamus, said,"I had no doubt when we submitted it, it would be NC-17. When they gave us the rating, I accepted it without any protest because if you are a grown-up you are going to love this movie."
