'Prom Queen' spin-off hits video sites

Vuguru project makes deal with Revver, Blinkx

"Prom Queen: Summer Heat," the spinoff of the online serial "Prom Queen," has set distrib partnership and promotional pacts with a slew of additional Internet vid sites.

Spinoff from Michael Eisner's Vuguru new media concern and production outfit Big Fantastic, has struck deals with vid-sharing sites BeBo, Revver, Blinkx, Imeem and VideoEgg and e-commerce vehicle StarStyle.com.

Like the original "Prom Queen," spinoff is also prominently featured on MySpace and distribbed available via YouTube, Veoh and Verizon's V Cast. Skein, which bowed in August, is comprised of 15 two-minute episodes set to run through the end of this month.
