'Mummy' ride unveiled

$60 mil rollercoaster unwrapped

Luckily the line for the "Revenge of the Mummy" ride at Universal Studios on Thursday night was long enough for everyone to sober up before being whisked away at high speeds.

The unveiling of the $60 million roller coaster spawned by the "Mummy" films brought out the pic's stars, Brendan Fraser and Arnold Vosloo, who celebrated among belly dancers, pharaohs on stilts and a Moroccan band.

Fraser said he hoped the third installment of the film franchise is not too far off.

"I know Stephen Sommers is taking the summer to have a think about it, and by the fall I will have an answer," Fraser said. "But one way or the other, it would be a lot of fun to do."
