'Dance card set for awards

Fest alums to host, '10 Nights' tribute to air

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Steve Zahn will co-host the 2003 Sundance Film Festival awards ceremony Jan. 25. Event will be broadcast live on the Sundance Channel at 9 p.m.

Thesps are Sundance festival alums. Gyllenhaal starred in last year's "Secretary," which picked up a special jury prize. Zahn won kudos in 1999 for his performance in "Happy, Texas."

Ceremony will be exec-produced by Adam Pincus, Jan Fleming and John Cooper.

Besides the kudocast, channel has skedded a 10-day tribute to the fest, "10 Nights of Sundance," to kick off Jan. 16. Special programming will include festival news updates and airings of past fest pics, such as "When We Were Kings" and "Scotland, Pa."
