'Clones' replicates itself for preems

Lucas pic holds bi-coastal screenings

Obi-Wan and Amidala were split up this weekend as the stars in George Lucas' latest installment of the "Star Wars" saga, "Episode II - Attack of the Clones," attended separate screenings of the pic on both coasts.

"Clones" preemed in Gotham Sunday at the Tribeca Film Festival as leading lady Natalie Portman attended the inaugural fest.

Across the country, the Fulfillment Fund was the beneficiary of the Force Sunday as a benefit preem of "Star Wars: Episode II -- Attack of the Clones" at the Chinese Theater raised over $1 million.

Star and Jedi Knight Ewan McGregor was among those who attended the screening, which was also boasted Storm Troopers and Darth Vader.

Also on the Left Coast, the orchestrator of the saga, George Lucas, attended the San Francisco Film Festival's preem of the pic.
