Kathy Beth Kantor

Kathy Beth Kantor, a photographer for Berliner Studios, died May 7 of cancer at Cedar Sinai Medical Center. She was 34.

Born in Los Angeles, Kantor began photographing as a freelancer, shooting celebrities for both publication and personal use. Her pictures ranged from celebrity weddings to holiday cards for the Dino De Laurentiis family.

Following a successful freelance run, Kantor joined Berliner's staff, where she covered a wide range of events, including the Oscars and the Fire and Ice Ball.

Kantor is survived by her husband, Todd, a stepson, a sister and her father.
