Edwards checks into 'Hope'

Actress Stacy Edwards has joined the cast of the CBS drama "Chicago Hope."

Edwards recently starred as Christine, a deaf woman, in the indie feature pic "In the Company of Men," and she also has a role in the upcoming pic "Primary Colors."

Her TV work includes appearances on series such as "Murder She Wrote," "L.A. Law," "Quantum Leap," and in the four-hour ABC miniseries "Innocent Victims."

On "Chicago Hope," which is moving to 10 p.m. Wednesdays this fall, Edwards will play Dr. Lisa Catera, a young neurosurgeon from a working-class family. Edwards is repped by Karen Goldberg at Premiere Artists Agency and Tracy Samuels at Interlink Management.
