Fox TV party's full of 'Hope St.'
A sizable ensemble cast and crew mingled with seasoned thesps at the premiere of Fox's new drama series "413 Hope St." at the Museum of Radio & Television on Wednesday night. The atmosphere was informal despite the Beverly Hills setting, with Fox Entertainment Group prexy Peter Roth joking and laughing with cast members and colleagues. Roth said a few words before the lights went down, explaining the origins of the show, which is based on a New York City teen crisis center called the Door. Show creator and executive producer Damon Wayans, well-known for his comedic performances, also gave a laundry list of thanks. Kudos went to series star Shari Headley as well as film veteran Richard Roundtree, who plays the founder of the facility for at-risk youth.
Turnout included a slew of television up-and-comers as well as fellow thesps and family members Kim, Shawn and Keenen Ivory Wayans.
