Medusa Film taps Pedranzini

ROME --- Margherita Pedranzini, a 10-year veteran of Silvio Berlusconi's Fininvest media conglom, has been appointed director of communications of Medusa Film, the group's feature film production and distribution division.

Pedranzini previously was director of communications, rights area, for Silvio Berlusconi Communications, Reteitalia. Since the launch of Medusa Film two years ago, she has headed the division's press office, dividing her time between the group's film and television concerns. Group TV division Mediaset was made an autonomous unit this year.

Pedranzini will assist Medusa president and CEO Carlo Bernasconi in the creative control of the film arm, overseeing communications and marketing as well as tracking new talent and production investment.
