If, by chance, Porky's should prove to be Melvin Simon's swan song in the film industry, it will either be perceived as a thunderously rude exit or a titanic raspberry uttered to audiences everywhere.
Virtually every scene and dialog exchange constitutes a new definition of lewdness. Locker room humor reaches new heights (depths) here. Film cannot be faulted for lack of a driving force - simply, all these young Florida boys are itching to score and most of their time is spent in pursuit of said goal.
Title refers to a redneck establishment out in the Everglades known for its available women. After being embarrassingly turned away on their first visit, the boys return to wreak havoc on the joint, proving once and for all that violence will result when the sex drive is repressed.
