Engel, Beeson take 'Lorna'

Deal launches New Wave

Former Artificial Eye toppers Pam Engel and Robert Beeson have launched their new distribution outfit New Wave Films with the acquisition of the U.K. rights for “The Silence of Lorna,” by Palme d’Or winners the Dardenne brothers.

Celluloid Dreams was handling sales in Berlin.

Roger Wingate's Act Entertainment Group and Philip Knatchbull’s media investment fund Knatchbull Communications Group acquired Artificial Eye in 2006.
