Anchor Bay picks up 'Walled In'

Mischa Barton stars in thriller previewing at Berlin

Anchor Bay Entertainment has acquired the domestic rights to transatlantic shingle Leomax's first feature, the thriller "Walled In."

Pic, starring Mischa Barton and helmed by Gilles Pacquet-Brenner, is the first of three Canadian films on Leomax's 2008 slate. Leomax and Anchor Bay will jointly distribute via Leomax's Indigomotion division.

Production recently wrapped in Saskatchewan, with advance footage unspooling at the Berlin Film Festival.
