First Look buys 'Bill'

Deal reps biggest Toronto sale

U.S. distrib rights to "Bill," a comedy helmed by tyros Melisa Wallack and Bernie Goldmann, went to First Look Studios in the final stretch of the Toronto film fest. Deal is valued at north of $3 million.

Gotham-based GreeneStreet Films produced. Pic, starring Aaron Eckhart, Jessica Alba and Elizabeth Banks, presold to Germany and Latin America, among other territories, and is close to a Canadian deal.

Script was penned by Wallack.
