Fantastic Film festival awards trio

Gaiman, Grillet, Andersson honored

Author Neil Gaiman and helmers Alain Robbe-Grillet and Roy Andersson are guests of honor at the 13th Fantastic Film Festival in Lund. Fest kicked off Thursday and ends Sept. 22.

Gaiman will introduce a screening of “Stardust,” which he penned, while Andersson will introduce his film “You the Living,” and Robbe-Grillet will be on hand to introduce his pic “Gradiva.”

Ten features and 13 shorts will compete for the Golden Melies award for European fantasy film, to be handed out on Sunday.
