Roven, who has principal photography on two Warner pics -- Anne Hathaway starrer "Get Smart" and Chris Nolan's Batman sequel "The Dark Knight" -- kicking off this spring, has just been given the greenlight by Sony for Tom Tykwer's "The International."

The Eric Singer-penned conspiracy thriller starts shooting in September and most of the production, including post, will take place here in Berlin.

Roven could not confirm rumors that Clive Owen will play the lead. What's for sure though is that Tykwer will work with the same D.P. and production designer as he did on "Perfume -- Story of a Murderer," Frank Griebe and Uli Hanisch.

"The look of the film is influenced by Berlin's architecture. "It's very important to Tom that we shoot the film with this winter look because he feels it will make the modern architecture stand out," said Roven. Apart from studio pics, Roven also has two indie pics in the market. Biting reality TV satire "Live!", starring Eva Mendes, is being sold by Fortissimo and heist pic "The Bank Job," shooting in London, is on Arclight's slate with Lionsgate distributing domestically.

"It's the first movie out of my relationship with Steve Chasman, he's producing it with me. He's been involved with Mosaic since last year," said Roven.

Chasman produced "The Transporter" sequels headlining Jason Stratham, and Roven is developing another franchise for Stratham to star in.

Roven is also setting up Jet Li starrer "A Monk in New York" about a Tibetan monk's journey to Gotham and the calamities that befall him as he's faced with Western civilization; plus "God of War" for Universal with "Road to Perdition" scribe David Self.
