Duo join for chiller
Continental, Delta bring 'Resurrectors' to life

Spanish production house Continental is joining Buenos Aires-based Delta Prods. to co-produce Uruguayan helmer Carlos Ameglio's second pic "Resurrectores" (Resurrectors), a perverse supernatural chiller.

Cecilia Roth ("All About My Mother") toplines "Resurrectors," which will have a mixed Argentine/Spanish cast.

Film turns on evil souls who can possess other people's bodies. Pic, moving into pre-production, is based on a screenplay by Argentine writers Carlos Gamerro and Ruben Mina. It will shoot in Argentina.

Launched by Diana Frey and Fernando Wajs in 1993, Delta is a production and facilities house. Its productions include Damian Szifron's 2003 Mar del Plata audience award winner "El fondo del mar."

Last year it serviced Emanuele Crialese's "The Golden Door" and Marco Risi's "Maradona, la mano de dios." It has a second film in development: Argentinean Hernan Belon's thirtysomething comedy, "Saturn is Back."

Galicia/Madrid-based Continental is run by Pancho Casal and Xavier Villaverde.
