CANNES -- IFC Films has closed a deal for North American rights to Gus Van Sant's "Paranoid Park," which screened in competition in Cannes.
'Paranoid' to be released through First Take
The film will be released through the company's First Take label, which allows for simultaneous release in theaters, on video-on-demand and (in some cases) on iTunes.
"Paranoid Park" makes the third pickup of Cannes for IFC, which also grabbed "Flight of the Red Balloon" and "4 Months, 3 Weeks & 2 Days."
