Josh Marks is originally from suburban Washington, DC. He has been living in Southern California since the summer of 2002. Josh's full-time gig is in entertainment journalism as an online production editor for Variety. He has also been published in community newspapers throughout greater Los Angeles. Prior to working in journalism full time Josh was an AmeriCorps Promise Fellow for a literacy organization and studied print journalism at UCLA Extension. Before moving to California he graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, about 20 miles west of the White House.
