Diane discovered her passion for movies when cable brought Doris Day and Rock Hudson theme weeks to her Connecticut town in the mid-1970s. She got her start in entertainment journalism as a TV Guide fact-checker in the Philadelphia suburbs and has alternated between writing and editing gigs ever since, surviving an eye-opening stint at Movieline shortly after her arrival in L.A. When not covering trends for Variety, Diane can be found running along the beach or spoiling her golden retriever with her equally besotted husband.
