Title: Contributor - Dublin
Karen Fricker, a Los Angeles native, has reported on the Irish legit scene for Variety since 1997, when she moved to Dublin from New York. The ostensible reason for her move -- writing a PhD in theatre studies at Trinity College -- is an ongoing project; in the meantime, she serves as editor in chief of a small but perfectly formed quarterly Irish theatre magazine; writes about theatre for publications including The Guardian, the New York Times, and the Irish Times; and reviews on television and radio for RTE, Ireland's national broadcaster.
