Title: Film Critic - Madrid
Jonathan Holland is based in Madrid and has reviewed Spanish and Latin American films for Variety since 1996. By day he teaches literature at Madrid's Complutense University, is a freelance journo who has written on Spanish cultural issues for a wide range of magazines, and edits the Spanish linguistic-cultural audio magazine, Puerta del Sol. By night, he plays guitar in a fabulous but little-known rock band, Population 5. His first (and so far only) novel, "The Escape Artist," was published in 1994.
