The four-day fest saw more than 50 features and shorts screen on the island during a laid-back interval just before the onslaught of summer tourist season.
Judd Apatow, Meg Ryan and Nanette Burstein received tributes. At Sunday's awards, the Showtime-sponsored Tony Cox Screenplay Competition winner was F.M. Strype for "Anna Down East." The Tony Cox Award for Screenwriting -- limited to films screened at the fest -- went to Daniel Schechter for "Goodbye Baby."
Jody Lambert drew the aud nod for her feature "Of All the Things."
Apatow was given the NBC Universal Suzanne and Bob Wright Screenwriting Award, and Ryan's career was highlighted during the Compass Rose Acting Tribute.
"American Teen" helmer Burstein was awarded the second annual Adrienne Shelley Excellence in Filmmaking Award, a cash prize in memory of the late "Waitress" director.
Sony Pictures Classics' "The Wackness" closed the fest Sunday. It was one of several pics with distribution using the Nantucket berth to plug an upcoming theatrical bow.
