Nominees for sound editing in an animated feature are "Bee Movie," "Meet the Robinsons," "Persepolis," "Ratatouille," "Shrek the Third," "The Simpsons Movie," "Surf's Up," and "Tekkonkinkreet."
Films named for achievements in dialogue editing include "American Gangster," "The Bourne Ultimatum," "The Bucket List," "Ghost Rider," "Michael Clayton," "No Country for Old Men," "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," and "Transformers."
Tuners nommed for achievements in music editing include "Enchanted," "Hairspray," "Sweeney Todd," and "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story."
Varying other categories include awards for short form television, foreign film sound editing, music editing, and a special student award, among others. Michael Bay and Bill Winstrom are also slated to receive special achievement awards. (Daily Variety 11/2/07)
