The pubcaster won the current affairs prize for "Baghdad: A Doctor's Story" (produced by Guardian Films for BBC Two) and the news category with "Lebanon Crisis" (produced by BBC News for the BBC).
The awards were presented to the winners by Bruce L. Paisner, president and CEO of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in Gotham on Sept. 24.
Paisner said: "The BBC's news coverage is a reference for journalists and news professionals worldwide.
"The International Academy congratulates the teams behind these outstanding reports who risked their lives to bring the story to the television screen."
