Rounding out the upcoming awards season schedule, the Directors Guild of America has set Jan. 30 as the date for its 62nd annual DGA Awards.
Back to topThe DGA, which made the announcement Monday, has booked the Century Plaza for the event.
The Golden Globes will kick off the season on Jan. 17, followed by the Screen Actors Guild awards on Jan. 23 and the Producers Guild of America kudos the following day.
The Writers Guild of America will hold simultaneous ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York on Feb. 20. The Independent Spirit Awards will be held on a Friday night, March 5, rather than on a Saturday to commemorate the event’s 25th anniversary, and the Academy Awards has been set for March 7.
The DGA said it will mail feature film nomination ballots on Dec. 1 and TV nomination ballots on Dec. 14. It will announce the feature nods on Jan. 7 and the TV noms the next day.
