Green Dining

While it’s thankfully rare to see Styrofoam tableware these days, the restaurant industry can still be a major polluter. But plenty of local restaurateurs are doing their part. Josie in Santa Monica uses locally grown produce from the nearby farmers' market, macrobiotic mecca M Cafe de Chaya is all organic, and municipal institution Spago has even gone so far as to forego the foie gras.
