Eddie Vedder's 'Guaranteed' music video
Eddie Vedder has made a rare music video appearance this year forfor Best Original Song hopeful "Guaranteed," from the "Into the Wild" soundtrack. (Edited due to piss-poor researching on Vedder's music video appearances by yours truly. I'm a child of theg runge era, and can only recall his long hiatus from doing them. ANYWAY). VH1 debuted the video earlier this week, and apparently, the gaffers were also on strike when director Marc Rocco shot the thing.
No, but seriously, folks...
It's good to see Vedder showing such committment to this project and his work in it. Some of the finest songs of the year were in this film. I was more moved by "Rise Up" and "Society," but "Guaranteed" is a solid track as well.

No worries, I just wanted to make sure the correct info was presented. Being big PJ fan, I wanted to make sure all of it was correct and was curious why the corrections in my comments where not appearing.
Keep up the good work on this and In Contention...

This entry, by the way, has been edited, Mike, as I concede some rather poor researching on my part. I just saw the Worldwide Suicide video, for one, but I come form the grunge era, and as I note above, can only recall Vedder's long hiatus from doing music videos. But do post again, as the interface never registered your comments.

No, I haven't censored any comments, Mike. Come again.

What happen to my 2 comments about the true air date of Jeremy and what other videos Eddie has appeared in since the early 90's?
Are they being erased or censored?

Actually, it was 1993, not 1992, but thanks for making me dig up the correct date by double-checking.
And yes, Pearl Jam has made videos ("Do the Evolution" comes to mind), but Vedder hasn't been on screen in one since "Jeremy."

Not at all the issue, but Pearl Jam have done 2 or 3 videos since Jeremy in 1992 (not 1994), inlcuding one around 2002.
