I don't even understand why any other movies were nominated for this category other than transformers. In terms of music editing the skill of the editors of transformers is much more superior to those of There will be blood or other nomminees

For its time, JP was certainly the best of the best.
But the photo-real quality of the robots and the seamless blending of them into day-time photography, not to mention in the same space as real people, was astounding.

Steep words, actionman. I still give that designation to Jurassic Park, but Transformers certainly was impressive in that arena to say the least.
