Hollywood Elsewhere points us to the Little Boston News, which has a scene from "There Will Be Blood" that ended up on the cutting room floor. It's a good little scene, though Abel's line about Eli being a "healer and a vessel for the holy spirit" ended up in the film elsewhere. I'm with the filmmakers, though. It's a slow moment when the film needed to chug along for a bit.
